HOBY World Leadership Congress.

For over 50 years Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership has been known as the country’s top youth leadership development organization. Founded in 1958 by veteran actor Hugh O’Brian, HOBY’s mission is to provide lifelong leadership development opportunities that empower individuals to achieve their highest potential. O’Brian set out to help young people make a difference and become positive catalysts for change—in the home, school, workplace, and community. Now, with more than 375,000 alumni leading the way, HOBY is respected worldwide for its youth leadership programs.

Rod D. Martin has been involved with HOBY since representing his high school at the Arkansas Leadership Seminar in April 1986, and then representing his state as one of its two “Ambassadors” to that year’s International Leadership Seminar.  There he first met his good friend Hugh O’Brian.  He served on HOBY’s Board of Governors from 2006 to 2016, and works to recruit support for this vital charity.  If you would like to pitch in, or if you know of a worthy high school sophomore who should have a chance to be involved in this life-changing experience, contact us.
