A Nationally-Recognized and Globally
Influential Christian College
Criswell College is a nationally recognized and globally influential Christian college. Named for legendary pastor-theologian W.A. Criswell, it is affiliated with the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention, North America’s largest Protestant denomination.
Founded in 1970 in Old East Dallas, Criswell has had enormously disproportionate impact on Southern Baptist life, producing many of the country’s most important Christian leaders. By means of a specific variety of academic programs, a substantial core curriculum of theological studies, and mentoring relationships with spiritually mature faculty, the college equips students to influence culture through leadership in church, government, business, media, and education.
In October 2015, the College elected Rod D. Martin to its Board of Trustees.
